Job Description:
Originates residential loans through solicitation of real estate brokers and consumers. Obtains required documents, takes special credit applications and follows through to closing.
Sells the advantages of the company and various loan products. May recommend loan terms.
Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.
Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Embraces our vision to become "The World's Greatest Bank".
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Requires a Bachelors degree in business or finance or equivalent and prior mortgage lending and sales experience.
Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required, annual required, or job-specific training.
